Abstract:Scientific regulation is the fundamental requirement of the insurance regulatory work in implementing the concept of scientific development. In regulation practices, we should protect both the interests of the insured and the interests of the insurance industry with the former having a higher priority; we should both cure the symptoms and the causes with the later having a higher priority; we should both regularize the insurance market and the intermediary market with more emphasis on the latter; we should combine governmental regulation and social regulation, especially the role of social oversight; we should combine regulation and services and integrate regulatory activities into services.
